 Color-Grad? FiltersTransform an average sunrise or sunset into something spectacular or convert a dull, washed-out sky to a breathtaking blue. No other filter has done as much to improve landscape photography as the graduated filter. Tiffen filters are the best option for outdoor landscape work. One half of the filter is a Sky Blue or SUnrise while the other half is clear with a soft edge between. The filter is mounted in a rotating ring like a polariser so that the edge can be aligned along the horizon. They are perfect for landscape work where extra punch is needed in the sky. The Blue is the ideal filter to improve the blue of the sky evenly across the image - unlike a polariser where the intensity of the effect can vary greatly depending on the angle with the sun - Add color selectively while leaving the rest of the scene unaffected
