Light Balancing Filters

Enables minor adjustments in the color quality of illumination to obtain warmer (yellowish) or cooler (bluish) color rendering.  Note.  The degree of effect increases as you go down the alphabet.

They are intended for use over the camera lens.  Where a color-temperature meter is available to determine the color temperature of prevailing light, or where the color temperature is already known.
